Jist of the story: 2 electricians lured to a vacant home. Two perps robbed and shot them in the leg, 2nd electrician pulls out a gun and shoots one bad guy in the head and maybe wounded the 2nd perp who ran.

Was in a hurry and I don't know if he concealed on his hip or ankle, but hitting them both was excellent under the circumstances.

I think I'll head to the range next week and do a little practicing just in case I ever need to use it (strictly for self defense).

Do you see where this goes? Nowhere.

Technology exists. Once it exists, it is extremely difficult to put back into the bottle. Rather than leaving it in the hands of the criminal element while leaving the law-abiding folks at their mercy, why not allow the same technology that bad people use to commit crimes also be used by good people to thwart them?
