Man dies after double shooting at west suburban tavern

A 32-year-old man died Saturday night, after a double shooting at a west suburban tavern in the early morning hours.

At 1:03 a.m., a Broadview police officer heard gunshots coming from the 1700 block alley of Roosevelt Road, according to a press release from Broadview police.

Upon investigation, it was determined that two victims had been shot, the release said. Both victims were taken to an area hospital.

One victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds, the release said. The other victim, Maurice Orange, 32, of Woodridge, died at 11:17 p.m.
