9. Depends on the state and the laws.

If it's a functioning firearm, I doubt it is legal in many states because every time you shifted you would be handling a firearm in a vehicle. While some states allow guns to be in the open in a vehicle, I doubt any allow them to be handled (loaded or otherwise). Looks like the grip safety has been transformed into the shift button, so my guess the firearm is either non functional or was never real from the beginning.
