But yes the Gun Nut Gallery is open to Anti-Gun Nuts as well. If you post down here you can post your picture. So far i have 2 pictures i just havent uploaded any yet. I will when i get some time.

5. Nice fish, dude....got any tips?

Seriously, it's my birthday on Wednesday and I know I'm getting a 7ft rod.

I haven't fished for about 15 years (since I was 14) and I only used to fish canals and small lakes for fun, in the UK. The biggest fish I ever caught was probably less than half a pound in weight.

Now I'm in Australia, and I'm getting this light-medium weight combo set-up, and I've got a "Rock and Beach" fishing set of weights and hooks. I intend to fish for food but have never been sea / river / estuary fishing before and am completely in the dark....

Any top tips? Anything basic would help....There's a lot of whiting, bream, salmon around, and maybe the chance at some Barramundi if I go up North (and invest in some heavier line!).

I dont know what all you have in Australia to fish for. Salmon, steelhead, and catfish are my specialties.

I am feeling old as well! Slackmaster can't be over 30- that saw gives it away! Why back in my day ya had to carry a real gun, the M-60.

That was taken in the summer of 1990 when I was 32 years old.

I assure you all that the socks and shoes I was wearing at that time would still fit me, but I won't comment on anything above the knee.

I have no idea why it did that. I was going to work on the site when i get some time off of work. I need to make all the pictures the same size. Some peoples pictures are to big to upload.
