Father, 60, dies in shooting

GRANADA HILLS -- A 60-year-old man died early today after being shot in the head as he sat in his vehicle in front of his home, police said.

Marcos Flores was found by his son just before midnight in the 16400 block of San Fernando Mission Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center about 12:30 a.m., said Detective Mike Oppelt of the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Station.

"The preliminary investigation revealed the victim had been returning home from work between 11:30 p.m. and midnight," Oppelt said. "He parked his vehicle at the curb in front of the family home and was shot ... while seated in his red Isuzu Trooper.

4. The point is....as it is apparent you missed it
is that the RIGHT to keep and bear arms extends to blades, guns, and all items that can be used for personal defense.

SEATTLE — An intruder stabbed a husband and wife with scissors in front of their twin boys last night after he broke into their Loyal Heights neighborhood home. The man fled the house and was cornered by neighbors, including one with a pistol, until police arrived.
