GD's down - who watched Larry King tonight (re: Kay Bailey)
Did she let something slip? Her comment on the "capture and murder" of Uday and Qusay - capture? We didn't capture them...or did we?

And is she completely incapable of acknowledging that * has put this country at greater risk - that yes, Saddam used chem weapons...in 1988! And that we sold them to him? God is just pisses me off when these statements are allowed to go unquestioned.

1. I Agree.
It makes me crazy to hear the repugs say over and over that they "KNOW" Saddam has chemical/bio weapons because he used them on his own people. They say that like it just happened recently. 15 years ago is a long time. But since that fact does not work to their advantage, it is totally ignored.

2. totally ignored by them and by everybody else
why oh why doesn't anybody ever call them on that? I thought my head was gonna explode! Actually, Ron Reagan Jr. did call Anthrax on that very thing on msnbc this afternoon. It was the first time, in my knowledge, that anyone has ever thrown that back at them.

And then it would be nice to aknowledge Rumsfeld's little trip to visit Saddam on behalf of the Bechtel corp. about that time without even bringing the WMD up!

3. Even worse than their BS though
is the fact that two supposedly knowledgeable journalists (Croft and Wright) also allowed it to go unchallenged. They of all people should know better, and yet they keep their mouths shut rather than set the record straight. If the media truly was liberal, they would jump all over stuff like that.

4. Did you hear her lie thru her teeth and true
to republican fashion tie Al Quida to Iraq and Saddam. Neither "journalist" nor Graham called her on that. :grr:

5. Robin Wright is a Hack
Back in the early 90's we were assigned her book in a graduate seminar expressly to show what bad (not just poor, but B.A.D.) scholarship and writing is.

Her use of imagery and propagandistic writing is vile!

Her reporting is no better.

She's one step below Annthrax Coulter.

As for Croft-- he keeps forgetting where he put the Barbie corvette. (Sorry--but he comes across as a friggin Ken Doll to me)

:) BTW Loved DEAN-- woohooooooo
