So, the killing of the IGC president yesterday...
How big of a deal is this, in the broad scheme of things? is this bad for Bush? I was under the impression that the IGC was somewhat Puppet-ish from the start.

1. From what I gather
it showes the world how crappy we are doing over there, and it scares the crap out of anyone who thinks that they would like to be the next leader of Iraq put into power by the US.

2. I bet the leaders
of a fledgling country named America were scared too.

I hope for the Iraqis sake, they can keep trying. They need to be able to have a free country. Free of Saddam, free of Bush.

4. Yes, but none of the leaders of fledgling America ...
were Tories. I'm afraid the only leaders which will be accepted by the Iraqis are the ones fighting the Americans in the streets, not the ones aaccepting positions in a puppet government.

3. Yesterday the IGC leader was assassinated and today
Chalabi got his allowance stopped. I wonder if there might be some dots to connect, or if this hopelessly corrupt appointistration has got me seeing spots before my eyes.
