Rio de Janeiro - A Brazilian who claims to be clairvoyant is seeking the $25-million reward the United States offered anyone providing information leading to the arrest of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, local media reported on Thursday.
Jucelino Nobrega da Luz has filed a complaint in federal court in Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais state, seeking support in securing what he believes is his due, the newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo reported.
Luz, an English professor by trade, says he informed the US embassy in Brasilia by letter on September 13, 2001 that the United States would wage war in Afghanistan and Iraq. In the same letter, he also described the location where Saddam would hide from American troops, he says.
