Blair meets Gadhafi
Does anyone else see this as yet another chink in the Bushite's armor?

My thought is that this hurts them in two ways:

Firstly, here’s smirk’s biggest ally in his Sandbox War visiting with a person who, for those of us that remember the eighties, was synonymous with the devil himself. The Bush League has been all kissy-kissy with him over the last few months, touting him as evidence that the doctrine of pre-emption has put the fear of god in others to the point that they’d abandon their nearly non-existent WMD program, but doesn’t this cast serious doubt in the resolve of the coalition of the billing?

Secondly, if they do try to spin it as evidence that Gadhafi's regime has redeemed itself to the point of re-joining the world community (according to the NeoCons), then isn’t this a clear rebuke of Shrub & Co’s’s insistence on preemptive war to oust Sadam? Gadhafi is a clear example of a leader who was a serious problem at one time, and through isolation, sanctions and global rebuke, has - seemingly - tempered his rhetoric and pro-extremist position. Why are there not more in the “liberal” media who are making the linkage between him and Sadam? Showing how a once despised country can be restrained and made a partner without level its cities.

Thoughts for discussion?
