Ha! Kerry - and daughter - speaking fluent French on France 2!

France 2 had a news crew along with Kerry today. They interviewed his daughter and the candidate. Both responded to the French-posed questions with great aplomb en français. Nice to see & hear.

I'm sure that David Gregory would appreciate having a truly bi-lingual president, but I wonder what the rest of the media will make of this. God...I can just see Rove getting his hands on that clip and running it in some anti-Kerry anti-France commercial.

Dimson's spanish/Tex-Mex is a dog that might not "hunt". Mexico hasn't been that supportive, and folks aren't crazy about Shrub's immigration plans. Besides, people have told me that Bush's spanish sounds trashy.

Ca ne se fait pas. American Presidents do not speak French, and in the event that they do, they hide that fact. Until Bush, I don't think any had made anything of speaking any foreign language.

We do big business with China and they were one of the "unwilling". Mexico, Canada were also. The French hatred is media driven.
