Update: Man Charged for Suspicious Package in York County, PA
Update: Man Charged for Suspicious Package

In York County, police have arrested a man in connection to a suspicious package that closed part of a road in Springettsbury Township.

Officers say Erik Dodds of Carlisle owned a car taken to a service center on North Hill Roads. Inside the car was a suspicious item that resembled dynamite with wires and a timer attached.

It turned out to be wooden rods wrapped in wax paper.

1. Just curious: why would you say "More" before the link when there is no more?
You printed the story in its entirety. I clicked on the link excitedly, hoping perhaps to learn why someone would wrap wooden rods in wax paper. I feel very let down now. All evening I'll be wondering what were the items that made someone at the service center think they saw a timer and wires.

2. Often times the newspapers update the story later. And besides...
would you rather I truncate a four-line article down to a three-line post, just so people will have something to discover when they click the link?

3. No. I'd rather you drop the word "More" so as not to make people click the link.

There is a decent write-up on this here. The "bombs" were an alarm clock a friend had given him a few years ago IIRC (I knew erik, haven't talked to him in two years however).
