'Talking' Chimp Baffles Scientists
It's true that the 23-year-old chimp has a peculiar fascination with shoes, taking every opportunity to lure observers close enough to stick his fingers through the fence and feel their footwear.

And yes, if you get close enough to his cage at Black Pine Animal Park, he will throw dirt, food — anything he can find — at you while his companion, Tarzan, makes loud sounds that resemble what some call a "raspberry."

But what really sets Coby apart from the other members of his species is one thing — he can talk. Or at least, he's trying to.

I wish we could make the Bush Crime Family live their lives in cages. Who's more deserving to be free?

1. Don't bother with the talking chimp:
He's got terrible grammer, syntax, and has trouble eating pretzles. The plus side, they finally stopped him from hurling feces at Cheney during cabinet meetings.

4. Why does this surprise you?
Why does it surprise people that monkeys talk? We are simply more evolved monkies.

For all practical purposes of our awareness of "what we are" all genetic life forms upon this planet are equivalent to us from the perspective of "a soul." We all just have different genetic morphologies, even within the human race.

But we know nothing about the soul... it's located in the brain and otherwise unknown, right?

6. People who take inappropriate animals as pets
should be prosecuted. Look at this poor animal, abandoned when he became too much to handle.

This happens with many animals taken as pets that are impossible to control and inappropriate as pets.

And thousands of suitable cats and dogs, animals who have been domesticated to be fine and suitable pets, are put to sleep every year.
