Jet Trucks Blast Off With Biodiesel

Two high-performance trucks that can exceed speeds of 300 mph were successfully fueled by 100 percent biodiesel July 7th at the annual Prairie Air Show in Bloomington, IL. The ShockWave Jet Trucks are equipped with jet engines and race fighter planes at air shows throughout the country. The Bloomington, IL air show marked the first time the trucks were fueled by biodiesel. The performing trucks were a late-model Peterbuilt semi and a ’57 Chevrolet pickup.
