Iran says oil may hit $100/barrel on geopolitics

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Mohammad Hadi
Nejad-Hosseinian said on Friday global crude oil prices could touch
$100 a barrel due to geopolitical problems and soaring winter demand.

He did not see the possibility of Iran withdrawing crude supplies
from global markets in case of U.S. military action against Tehran.

1. Are you sure it wasn't $200?
I saw a post in GD that said the same thing.

We're not far off from the $100 mark right now anyway.

2. I read the same thing about $200. a barrel yesterday. Here's the DU link->

Let's hope it doesn't go up any more. Winters are long and cold up here in the North Country and many up here are already struggling and very worried about how they're going to afford to heat their homes.
