E-mail drive blasts president's emissions policy
We should have groups like this all over the country.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/state/orl-locenviron22122203dec22,1,1738519.story

<snip>
A new environmental group, aided by officials from the former Clinton administration, has launched a Florida-focused e-mail campaign to publicize its view that President Bush has undermined clean-air protections.

The Environment2004 group is using Internet ads and e-mails from Carol Browner, the former Environmental Protection Agency administrator under President Bill Clinton. The messages ask Floridians to call on Gov. Jeb Bush and Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist to oppose EPA changes under the Bush administration to a federal Clean Air Act program called "New Source Review."
...
Environment2004 announced it would go after President Bush's environmental record and pay special attention to Florida as a key electoral state for the next presidential election. Republican Party officials have denounced environmental-group mobilizations against President Bush as Democratic political maneuvering.

That line should tell us something for sure! They know they are vulnerable on the environment, big time.

By the way, I realize that we have had recent good news about New Source Review from the Circuit Court today, but this group should be able to switch gears and pick another of some incredibly many anti-environmental policies that have been instituted under Bush.
