By everyday operation of Coal-fired Power Plants. 25 tons of that was released to the atmosphere, the rest apparently caught by particulate precipitators (and likely used in the manufacture of masonry products and concrete)

I'd kindly point out that while you might like paying <10 cents a kWh for electricity, your right to burn coal ends at the pollution of my atmosphere.
