Wow! Bachmann Wants to Conserve Energy at EPA Offices

Michele Bachmann evidently wants to close down the Environmental Protection Agency. During a campaign stop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Bachmann declared: “And I guarantee you the EPA will have doors locked and lights turned off and they will only be about conservation,” she said earlier today at a campaign stop in Cedar Rapids. “It will be a new day and a new sheriff in Washington, D.C.”

Bachmann is obviously trying to woo the green vote. Environmentalists will no doubt be impressed with her pledge to turn out the lights. That will save oodles of energy. Good job, Michele. Your rating among the environmental lobby is likely to soar.

Now that you've turned the lights out, you'll be forced to rely more heavily on natural light from the sun. Good thing there's plenty of that. Global warming will make be really good for you. I've seen pictures. You could use a good tan. But don't forget the sunscreen: SPF 50 at least. You're starting to get some wrinkles around those eyes of yours, and we can't have nature screwing up your public image.

we are supposed to take dominion over the earth and exploit it's resources. Her suggestion to shutter the EPA has nothing to do with turning the lights off and conserving energy. It has everything to do with raping MOther Earth.
