Spent the week visiting family (in Hawaii)
And here was the "surprise." For decades the auto dealerships fought mass transit. Gas is so high now that there is a service in maui...and they have more demand than busses. That is the future by the way...mass transit is coming back.

Once we process photos will post some pictures at my site... And since sister in law lives in the boonies (hanna) yes we went on that road.

1. Hanna is amazing.
If I lived there, I would probably just own a bicycle. The road is narrow, but smooth.

Expensive living though, not much work.

Didn't part of this road fall into the sea during the earth quake?
BTY, this is a two way road. Blind turns...

And out is the middle of nowhere was this in a hole in the wall. Notice the extension cord

4. ooh, good point.
I forgot about the tourists. I was one, but some people's driving was truly shocking, and they were all in rental cars.

5. When I drove it, it was the locals in trucks.
They knew the road...

6. Well as I type this
The local Dollar rental is wondering where the dawg paws came from. We took Tom's parents mut when we went to visit. He did a lot of car, or is that jeep, skying. Wheee!

Happy mut though.

We saw two crazy, or is that hardy, souls on bikes...
