1. Peak Oil, the Big Big Lie
Edited on Thu Feb-10-11 11:20 AM by Kalun D
Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.

There is no shortage of oil, at least not like it's being described by the oil companies.

Hubbert wrote his original study at the bequest of the oil companies. Demand and supply drive price, if you can control the perception of supply you can control the price which is exactly what happened.

We didn't invade Iraq to tap Iraq's oil, we invaded Iraq to control Iraq's oil and keep it largely off the market.

Iraq is the world's 2nd largest reserve, or at least it was until they started counting the Canadian tar sands, which put the peak oil big big lie to rest once and for all.

4. Whut Up Wit Dat?
How did we suddenly get a new larger reserve than the previous largest reserve? It happened right at the same time oil was supposed to peak.

Saudi was the largest reserve, right as it's supposed to be peaking suddenly the Canadian tar sands appear out of nowhere. Suddenly there's a new even larger reserve than the previous largest reserve. Sort of puts the kabosh to the lying peak oil bullship.

Let's see, you are the largest companies on the planet, you've recently broke all world records for obscene profits. Would these kind of people lie to make more money? Oh no the likes of BP, the world record polluters, would never lie, no no never. LOLZ!!!!!!

8. I know...
I love those who spout on and on with their "evidence" which is basically nothing more than a glorified opinion.

I doubt the poster will respond.
