Alliance for Nuclear Worker Advocacy Groups mourns loss of Sen. Kennedy
From Frank Munger's blog at the Knoxville Sentinel:
ANWAG mourns loss of Sen. Kennedy

The Alliance for Nuclear Worker Advocacy Groups issued a statement this afternoon on the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy, who was considered a "friend and champion" of sick nuclear workres.

Here's the statement from ANWAG's Antoinette Bonsignore via Janet Michel:

"The Alliance of Nuclear Worker Advocacy Groups is deeply saddened and mourns the loss of Senator Ted Kennedy. He was a friend and champion for sickened nuclear weapons workers. For many years he fought for the right of these workers to be compensated for their service to our nation in a fair and just manner. Senator Kennedy's leadership and compassion will be sorely missed by all.

"Our thoughts are with the Kennedy family and the extended family of
Kennedy staff and friends throughout the nation."
