8/22 National Ice Center - All Of Franz Josef Land @ 1-3/10ths, BIG 7-8/10 Area w/i 100 NM Of Pole
Barents NE:
Huge areas of open water to 82-83N, with not much of anything left around the archipelago:
http://www.natice.noaa.gov/pub/East_Arctic/Barents_Sea/Barents_Sea_North/2008/Northeast/barnecurrentcolor.pdf

High Arctic East:
Lots of items of interest in the Pole sector - the big plate of 7/8-10ths just next to the Pole, and the ice-free area north of the Kara Sea has about quadrupled since the last update:
http://www.natice.noaa.gov/pub/East_Arctic/Hi_East/2008/hieacurrentcolor.pdf

Chukchi Sea:
Almost entirely ice-free south of 70N, and approaching ice-free north of it as well:
http://www.natice.noaa.gov/pub/west_arctic/Chukchi_Sea/2008/chukcurrentcolor.pdf

Beaufort Sea:
Not much left except for one long, thin spur of 7-8/10ths sticking down west of Banks Island. Otherwise, smooth sailing:

High Arctic West 2:
Substantial fragmenting, with large area of 4-6/10ths approaching 80N, substantial area of 7-8/10ths at 83 or 84N:
