Nazarbayev considers an increase share of renewable sources to be crucial for energy balance of the country

Atyrau. June 6. "Kazakhstan Today" President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbeyev considers it is an important to increase a share of renewable sources of energy in fuel-energy balance of the country. He declared of it today during the 19th plenary session of the foreign investors Council under the president of Kazakhstan, agency reports.

"An obligatory condition for sustainable development of the country in 21 century is a usage of renewable energy sources, which we have not started developing yet," n. Nazarbayev said.

"Share of renewable sources in the overhaul fuel-energy balance of Kazakhstan makes up at the moment only 0,02%. It is not enough for us, considering an enormous potential on such resources as wind and sun energy, in development of which there is a huge expertise is accumulated in the world," he noted.

"The government should start this work, which contain a wide field for innovations development," head of the state continued.
