Electric Hydrogen delivers carbon-free, renewable hydrogen

Electric Hydrogen is pleased to announce the delivery of four renewable hydrogen generation systems.

The hydrogen generators, ranging in capacity for 2.5 to 17 slpm (0.15 to 1 Nm3/hr), were delivered to customers in Hawaii, Canada and Brazil. The systems, powered by solar PV and/or wind, produce carbon-free hydrogen for renewable energy systems and to power fuel cell vehicles. Fuel is delivered to both compressed gas and solid state metal hydride (MH) storage systems. Electric power is generated by fuel cells supplied by a number of different leading fuel cell companies.

Electric Hydrogen (EH) has developed a proprietary approach to controlling power input that enables the hydrogen generation system to produce hydrogen from the renewable power available, without the use of additional electronics and batteries.

Two of the four systems included EH Metal Hydride Filling stations, metal hydride storage supply, and hydrogen storage systems on-board fuel cell golf cars. The MHF and vehicular storage systems were equipped with matching custom quick connect fittings to enable safe, fast and easy replacement of MH canisters from the MHF to the golf cars.
