Sierra Club Endorses Congressman Dennis Kucinich for Congress

Sierra Club heartily endorses and urges all friends of the environment to vote for Dennis Kucinich for Congress in the Ohio Democratic Primary, March 4, 2008.

Congressman Kucinich has been endorsed by the Club in every Congressional
contest in the last 12 years. His environmental record is outstanding
throughout his career at all levels of government, both in voting record and in
moral leadership on local, national, and international issues. He has been
especially responsive and steadfast in pursuit of clean affordable energy and
the reduction of carbon based fuels, global warming and toxic air emissions; the
monitoring and phase-out of nuclear power; and promoting the transition to a
sustainable energy economy while preserving and expanding our manufacturing base
and jobs at a living wage. He has taken moral leadership towards development of
a national consensus sufficient to overcome the immense political power of the
oil, coal, and auto corporations. He has led on creation of a Department of
Peace and towards reductions in risk of devastating wars and wasteful weapons
spending. He can be counted on to support public lands preservation and quality
national parks.


What You Can Do

Tell your friends and family and make sure they vote this coming Tuesday. Put
up a yard sign for Dennis and display a bumper sticker.

neighborhoods, sign dropping, and poll workers on Election Day.
