Buy gas that doesn't pay for terrorism
Edited on Tue Aug-24-04 04:27 PM by AZDemDist6
We CAN buy gasoline that is not from the Middle East. Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even be good for us!

The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor.

An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil.

Shell...........................................205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco...........................144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil...............................130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway....................117,740,000 barrels Amoco.........................................62,231,000 barrels

If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! I think it is up to $40/barrel now!!! THINK ABOUT IT! Here are some large companies that DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil: Citgo................. ...0 barrels
Sunoco.................0 barrels
Conoco.................0 barrels
Sinclair.................0 barrels
BP/Phillips............0 barrels
Hess....................0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. They report on a monthly basis.

Keep this list in your car; share it with friends. Stop paying for terrorism. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. It's really simple to do!! Now, don't wimp out at this point ... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people! Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. How much would all that take?

If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next eight days!

Sorry about all the !!!!!'s It's an email I received.

3. Doesn't help with the regional differences, though, sorry
Where I am in Southern California there aren't any Sunoco, Conoco, Sinclair, BP Phillips, Hess, Amoco or Citgo Stations at all.

Just Mobil, Texaco, Shell, Unocal and off-name brands.

I buy my gas at Costco exclusively.

5. You know I have seen this and have tried this but here's the problem
Those on the list that don't import gas from the Saudi Criminal Family Corp. (down here I have tried Sunoco and Conoco) have the worst crap gas, the light would go on signifying that the fuel is of low quality and is making my car struggle.

Still though what I wouldn't give for a true to life way to really give the finger to the Saudi Royal Criminals.

12. That may be great idea on paper, but....
where are all the non-Saudi countries going to get the oil to supply the US?

Right now the world is pretty much pumping at capacity, so sombody is going to have to go without if this plan is going to work.

Want to truly make a difference? Park your car and start biking, walking and taking public transit.

13. Whatever increases your bliss
Just don't smoke any of your American Spirit genuine 100% Native American-made authentic cigarettes ("The Holy Smoke preferred by Chief Seattle to any other brand!") around it, that's all.
