2. I'm glad to hear that
in general Democrats are, but of course not always. The one (candidate?)I know least about is Clark at this point. I've heard he acknowledges Global Warming at least.

3. Environment

I don't have the records, but Kerry, Kucinich are outstanding. John Edwards is also very good believe it or not.

You want to know if someone is at least decent see if they opposed Gale Norton. Anyone who supported that wacky fascist will never get my support. I believe a really good Dem supported her (maybe Feingold...not sure).

The rest Im not sure about.

7. Lieberman rules on the environment

Problem is I don't agree w/ him on so many other issue.

Still...if he were to win the Dem nomination I'd vote for him over the freakdick in the White House for this reason only.

8. it appears
that any one of the candidates will have positive environmental policies. I have no axe to grind and I'm not looking to "bash" anyone. I may perhaps come up with who looks like they might be the best overall "environmental candidate" I think also that the WTO, NAFTA, FTAA etc. play into the issue greatly.

9. For candidates not in Congress
I checked out the websites of Dean, Moseley-Braun and Sharpton. Dean's site has an extensive section on the environment -- try http://www.deanforamerica.com and click "On the Issues."

Moseley-Braun and Sharpton have no statements on the environment, but Moseley-Braun's site does provide links to a number of environmental sites.
