Brother and sister Mike and Annie Dee run the 10,000-acre property in this small, far-west Alabama town. They plant 3,500 acres of row crops annually and raise 1,000 head of cattle.

The Dees have been running the family farm together since 1989, but in recent years the pair has made some particular decisions that have helped them run it more efficiently and more economically.
