How a New Trend is created....5 steps
Found this in my computer files...author unknown....but it fits with OWS and how things are shaping up.


1.Significant pain or pleasure
2.Question the Status Quo
3.Search for alternatives.
4.Adopt new rules.
5.A new trend is created.


we may be in step 3 (IMO)

3. OWS statements seem to indicate #2 stage, with some steps towards #3
on a small scale.
I have not heard yet any large scale #3 proclamations. They seem to be in what we used to call
consciousness raising..
altho the direct action of yelling Geraldo Riveria and Fox out of Liberty Park was SO cool!!!!!
