Fix for Consumer Confidence
This may sound crazy, but I think the best fix for the Economy right now might be balancing the national budget. I've heard it said recently that not renewing any of the Bush taxcuts would get us close to balance. It would do wonders for the national consumer mood. It might end the doomsday talk and the gold/silver mania. Just a thought. Probably crazy, but so is most everything now.
