Turning People into Profits: Wal-Mart's Magic Numbers
From Counterpunch ...

http://www.counterpunch.org/cox04202004.html

Definately an article worth checking out, it lays out the unfairness of Wal-Mart's pay structure, pointing out that each Wal-Mart SuperCenter costs taxpayers more than $420,000 per year in subsidies to their underpaid employees.

1. Great article.
Thanks for the link.

It amazes me that people just don't get how much those 'low low prices' cost society as a whole.

2. The CEO is not having any financial problems now is he?
That's disgraceful. Walmart will not get any money from me....But... Inadvertently they are..since I am helping to subsidize their low wage policies with social programs.
