7 banks go under today-

Actually, looks like ONE bank with 6 branches?
and one in NY.
But FDIC list counts them individually for a total of 7, which makes sense since each one has to be
paid off.

Security Bank of Jones County Gray GA
Security Bank of Houston County Perry GA
Security Bank of Bibb County Macon GA
Security Bank of North Metro Woodstock GA
Security Bank of North Fulton Alpharetta GA
Security Bank of Gwinnett County Suwanee GA
Waterford Village Bank Williamsville NY

1. Is it just me or is large number of these banks going under located in Georgia?

3. So far, Ga, Fla..
Dunno why.
Because the failed bank states allowed no regulation?
Because the regulators are looking at these states harder, now?
Because someone failed to pay hush money?

Lots of questions, since for every bank closed, you know there has to be 10 at least with the same
risky loan/debt problem.

4. FL is easy..
... real estate speculation was rampant. I hear that there was also plenty of that in the suburbs of Atlanta, but it's hard to see how it could compete with FL.
