America has been infected for quite some time and right now our prognosis is not good. Maybe some detox is in order. Hmm... lets see... what about those Toxic Assets?

Surely that is worth a cool 90 Trillion. (Ninety trillion being a refernece to South Park's Margaritaville episode - which nails the entire economy scenario in thirty very funny minutes.)

3. You're right. But "normal" people wanting to make money isn't greed.

Oh wait, that IS greed! Come to think of it, the entire economic system that allowed us to turn into the richest country in human history is based on greed!

Gosh, maybe this whole thing came about for reasons that are a little more complex than the easy, one-word bashing of the villains of the month.
