What the hell is Frostbank? Is this an open season scam on everyone during this period of
economic downswing or whatever this depression is termed?

3. Is it just me or has anyone else seen the increase in this kind of crap since the economic downswing

I bet I have become the wealthiest woman in the world from all the lotteries and business opportunites I have won and have received in the past few months from Nigerian 419 scammers.

Particularly to those addressed to "undisclosed recipients". Have we become a nation of absolute greedy dumbasses????

4. I read an article about it a few months ago.
Scamming tends to increase during economic hard times; more people decide it's viable to prey on people's desperation and false hope, and others are too desperate to realize they're being scammed.

5. I really feel for these desperate people - particuarly those who fall for the employment scams

of cashing fake checks at their own banks and sending on REAL money to the scammers. The scammed are also involved in a fraudulent money laundering scheme as well as being held accountable by their own banks for all the money they have received.

Are they stupid, desperate or both?
