But not to head Treasury Dept. I think this honest mistake explanation sounds very Chimplike and makes Obama look bad, and Joe six pack would never get away with it.

4. It is not BS
No one in his position accidentally forgets to pay his taxes. The loopholes he used also show an inherent dishonesty IMO.

5. It's very apparent that Gethner thinks f himself as above the law.
I have to pay self-employment tax, and believe me, I dot every i and cross every t. I had to figure it all out on my own. Geithner got several forms explaining it to him. Plus, he was audited and told by the IRS to pay the tax. He only paid for the audited years. That looks like cheating.

Worse still, Geithner's mentor is the crooked, corrupt Rubin, who used Citigroup like his own personal pyramid scheme.

Obama needs to dump him fast.

6. What does that mean?
Very troubling, why is it BS? It is documented. Why is someone "suspect" for bringing up reality?

8. You do understand that Geithner is to economic recovery
As gasoline is to putting a raging fire out, don't you?.

or maybe you cannot use Google.

Anyway, Obama could have chosen many others rather than this crook slimebag. Those who come to my mind, are Boxer, Kucinich, Waters, or even Issa if he wanted to be bi-parisan. Obama is only going to have brief moment to set our economy into recovery mode

If he continues to make foolish choices like these, the nation will not recover. Obama has even had his "Good job Brownie," moment by saying what a great job Hank the Swindler Paulson is doing.

We could end up in dire strats, without goods on the shelves of our stores, without any jobs, without any services. On top of that, O will be unable to keep the Presidency for a second four years.

7. That Paulson Mini-me has got to go, lying SOB
On another thread in Gen. Disc. the question came up of why many of us think Geithner is lying through his teeth. Maybe because we're adults, with eyes and ears and adult judgement -- we can add 2 plus 2. I have no idea why Obama picked him -- unless he was ordered to. Perhaps the well-heeled Wall Street crooks and the Fed criminals really run the show. After all they did order both parties and their presidential candidates to back the original "bailout" bill back in September -- on top of that, the procedure was totally unconstitutional, bills cannot originate in the Senate. But thugs don't care about things like that, only about what they can get away with. Hey, that sounds like Geithner.
