'Toilet training not essential for this job'
Buenos Aires, Argentina - Supermarket cashiers in Argentina are being forced to wear nappies to keep them from taking toilet breaks at work, a union says.

Female cashiers in western Mendoza province must wear adult diapers in case "cold, nerves, pressure or stress" provoke incontinence, union official Jorge Cordova told local news agency Diarios y Noticias on Thursday.

Cordova refused to name the supermarket but he did say the chain is backed by foreign capital, said Sandra Varela, Mendoza's labour sub-secretary.

Laugh huh? I posted about 1 month ago: A story about workers booking vacation airline tickets and hotels from work was costing the U.S. employer some million dollars...???. I posted: 'Besides the usually drug test (pissing in a cup) and lie detector tests, American employers now require urinal catheters surgically inserted into employees so they no longer have to go to the toilet thus saving employers billions of dollars.'

Well, there it is. Vindicated from guessing.

Who's the foreign invester?

4. While it is inhumane...
I can understand where they're coming from. Years ago, I managed a grocery store for a small local chain. Literally, there would be one woman gone from the registers at all times during the day to go to the bathroom. With the razor thin margins grocery stores (especially the smaller ones and smaller chains), having 5-20% of your cashiers hanging-out in the bathroom hurts. Also, closing lines and not having enough lines open makes customers mad.

5. Get this book....
There is a book called Void where Prohibited: This book is about how people had to fight for the "right" to use the restroom on company time.

Go here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0801433908/qid=1059757138/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2976004-8665418?v=glance&s=books to read some sample pages.

Really scary.

I have worked customer service jobs where we were instructed to use the restrooms only on breaks and to hold it at all other times.
