1. The third option is the closest to my view
But I'm not sure they were "created" by the depression, they've always been there, they just remain unhurt by it.

2. Everybody is hurt in inverse proportion to their disposable income.
Those with very little (or no) disposable income suffer the most.

5. i'm not sure
the bacon wrapped filet steaks were flying at my butcher. i was getting chicken + stew meat. and the pork rpast. got a 3+ pounder and made 1/2. 4 meals. and they had extra shrimps. and crab legs and it was busy.

7. Who ever gets bailed out gets hurt the least
So far, it's been the Wall Street welfare queens -- the richest among us -- who've gotten ALL of the bailout. And all of it came out of non-affluent taxpayers' pockets.

The current Depression will redistribute wealth upward, just like the 2001 recession redistributed wealth upward.
