Say it ain't so Joe, Coors says Zima is Kaput!
R.I.P. 1993-2008
http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/chi-ap-millercoors-zima,0,2476865.story

"The joint venture between SABMiller's U.S. unit and Molson Coors Brewing Co. told distributors in a letter Monday that production of the malt liquor beverage was discontinued as of Oct. 10."

---
In the past week, I've considered Joe Zima-pack to be the actual Republican Joe six-pack. Now it's just another dead Republican brand.

I recall David Letterman often talked about Zima, always asking, "what is this crap?" For more, check out the Wikipedia article about this "malternative."

5. I remember
when Jay Leno was joking about Kevin Costner's character in "Waterworld" taking a leak into a purifying machine, in order to drink the resultant liquid on the seawater-soaked planet. He said, "Still tastes better than Zima!"

6. I thought they quit making it years ago.
I haven't seen it since Clinton was in office. Maybe it's not in CA.
