2. WTF is going on here?

When Congress is dealing with things I don't fully understand, I'm pretty much in the habit of trusting the judgment of a few selected politicians, of whom Bernie Sanders & Barney Frank are two. I haven't heard Bernie weigh in on the new deal, but if Barney's for it, then it at east deserves another look.

I'm also aware that Krugman is giving it a (barely) passing grade.
