Why fear foreign ownership?

M$M stories about U.S. companies being sold to foreigners are supposed to bring fear to our hearts--but could they really be worse than the rat bastard CEO's that can't give our jobs away fast enough and support scoundrels like Bush and Cheney. In fact, maybe the only hope for the USA is a total foreign buyout.

2. We should be much more afraid of the Corporations buying
up our commons. That is going on at an alarming rate. Its the selling off of amerika. Pretty soon, you will have to pay a fee to drive out of your yard onto the roadway. They are already selling off the fire departments. If you don't pay for the corporations service, your house burns down.
Just imagine what happens when the police departments are corporatized. Think they are bad now? Not even close.
Yes, we should be very afraid....not of terrorist, but of fascism.

4. What's the difference?
Multinational corporations show no allegiance to any country. That's why we ought to stop subsidizing them. We ought to try subsidizing the American worker instead.

5. slight correction
America-based multinational corporations show no allegiance to any country, but most other countries keep their corporations on a tighter leash. In particular, you are very unlikely to see a Chinese corporation acting contrary to the (perceived) interests of the state.
