Whoa...check this out
Was Clinton More Conservative than Bush? :wow:

http://www.cato.org/research/articles/derugy-020725.html

Looks like Bush is spending more than Clinton did! Well according to these guys. No wonder the deficit is increasing, cutting taxes and increasing spending will definitely drive the deficit up, up, up and away!

Sheeesh and look at this one on Bush's Faith Based Initiatives

Yeeeech. This really annoys me. Spending even more money on these groups. Grrr.... :grr:

1. Conservatives are supposed to care about fiscal responsibility
Bush is the antithesis of that.

2. Holy cow, if Cato turns on Bush...
...he must not have any friends left at all. Outside of PNAC, of course...

3. CATO Is Libertarian
CATO is a libertarian minded think tank. They are fiscally conservative (anti-tax AND anti-spend, unlike Bush), but most importantly, they are definitley against military interventionism.

4. Yup Yup
Something I like to point out to conservatives:
Taxcuts, spending on more social programs, and taking out more debt are easy things to do.
Running a government so the programs do what their mandate states with a tight budget that's hard.

Bush doesn't seem like he can do anything "hard".

It'd be funny if the libertarian vote would go to democrats, or they'd at least break off from the republicans and screw em once like the greens did the democrats last time.
