GM cutting staff - Up to 12,000 jobs
Yeah, the economy is getting better, another 12,000 join the unemployed.
It is all working just the way the aristocrats planned.
Two classes, the filthy rich and the poor!

DETRIOT -- General Motors plans to offer buyout packages to as many as 2,000 white-collar employees, cutting some departments by 10 percent, the Detroit News said.

A GM spokeswoman said the staff reductions would come from voluntary early-retirement and buyouts, and not layoffs.

The Detroit News said salaried GM-North America employees began receiving early retirement and buyout offers earlier this year. GM also is idling three plants in the United States and cutting as many as 12,000 jobs in Europe

3. I've been warning my friends
about the coming fiscal collapse of the U.S.

At the very least it's gonna be amusing to watch. I'm not above a good "I told you so"

The best part, during the Great Depression it was corporate fatcats that jumped from buildings. I want to paint a large target at the bottom of all business buildings downtown, with a point system painted in each ring, see if I can't get a local media source to keep track of each days score.

5. They should mention the size of the bonus that the executives will
award themselves this year, for cutting operating costs.
