No more email for you@work
London - A British phone company has declared war on internal emails and says it expects to save around £1-million (about R11-million) each month as a result.

It has banned all in-house emails to save its staff the chore of having to sift through thousands of widely circulated messages and unwanted drop copies, which often bear no relevance to their work.

A spokesperson for telephone retailer Phones 4u said the move would save each employee at least three hours of work time each day.

1. So I guess the old "inter-office memos" are back
:)

I think lots of companies switched to e-mail because they thought they could hit delete, and all trace of it was gone :)..NOT..

So now it's back to paper ..at least with paper you can shred it and make it all go away
