Pat Robertson don't look to God when you get throat cancer.
Now I'm not saying you're going to get it,nor do I wish it upon you, but if you do, don't look to God for help. For the up-teen-th time you're claiming to be the Lord's voice on Earth. Get a clue and leave the good people of Dover, PA and frankly the sane people of this nation alone. We live in a democracy, not a theocracy, for crying out loud.

If you missed it, here's Pat Robertson's latest "revelation".

Robertson warns Pennsylvania voters of God's wrath
Eight 'intelligent design' school board members lost election

Thursday, November 10, 2005; Posted: 5:27 p.m. EST (22:27 GMT)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Conservative Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson told citizens of a Pennsylvania town that they had rejected God by voting their school board out of office for supporting "intelligent design" and warned them Thursday not to be surprised if disaster struck.

Robertson, a former Republican presidential candidate and founder of the influential Christian Broadcasting Network and Christian Coalition, has made similar apocalyptic warnings and provocative statements before.

4. I've often said ...
Edited on Thu Nov-10-05 08:14 PM by NanceGreggs
... that Pat Robertson (and Falwell, et al) wouldn't recognize Jesus if he came up to him on the street and kicked him in the ass. And if Jesus did come down to earth, kicking these guys in the ass would be NUMBER ONE on his Things-to-Do list!

AT: Isn't Mr. Robertson's organization going under, due to shortage of funds?

If God loves Robertson so much, why has he given him a seat at the back of the 'financial congregation'?

AAT: God is supposed to be all-powerful. If Robertson believes that God sent Hurricane Katrina to punish NOLA, because it was about to host a gay event, why did God spare the French Quarter (where all of the drinkin' and whorin' allegedly goes on), and hit dozens of Christian churches?

Perhaps Mr. Robertson is putting ANOTHER, less-powerful GOD, before Him! MMMhhmmm .....
