Is it possible for bush* to wear a small unnoticed microphone in his ear
so he can be told what to say in news conferences? I'm really beginning to think he wears one and. The man is an idiot and the only way to keep all this bushcrap straight is to have someone talking into his ear keeping him straght. Or is that idea to far fetched?

1. I believe that is the case...

That, plus the teleprompter, plus coaching, plus a sympathetic mediawhore circus....and the asshole still butchers all of his speeches.

It really is quite amazing when you think about it.

3. I have to stop watching him. I'm running out of hair!!
And I'm sick and tired of being embarrassed. What must the world think? They're waiting for us to redeem ourselves, lets hope we as a nation do and kick this stupid man out!

But it just seems the way he answers the questions, he's waiting for answers and a microphone in the ear is the only way that could happen.

2. Not far-fetched
the problem is he forgets what he was told to say before he says it. That's why so many "turds of wisdom" come out of his mouth.

6. Very Likely!
I dunno how many of you have noticed before but I think he does wear on in his right ear. There is always "something" in there. Like a little flat ball; barely noticable and in flesh tone color. You will see it as he turns slightly at an angle. Unless of course Dubya has odd ears....

8. Would't that be just like Bush??? Of course a "microphone" won't
do you much good in your EAR. Perhaps you mean a speaker?

But I can see him with a microphone in there ("hello ?? hello? I can't hear anything. Carl????")

9. All a microphone would pick up would be the sound of the ocean
similar to what you hear when you pick up an empty seashell and listen.

10. It's not enough
that he hears voices in his head already, they have to add a small pickup device in his ear to add more voices and increase his confusion?

12. If that were the case, wouldn't he have more press conferences and allow p
people like Helen Thomas ask him "real" questions.

13. He absolutely does - I HEARD it on 9/11/01
When he gave the speech from the Oval Office - when he looked scared shitless. I was watching on ABC in NYC. I could HEAR the prompter feeding him the lines. There was a screwup with the audio and the prompter was audible in the room. You could tell from Bush's face that he was disconcerted by it. The prompter would read a few words, then Bush would repeat, then the prompter, then Bush. It sounded like a simultaneous translation, but all in English. This went on for maybe 30 seconds or so. I'm not the only one who heard it. An online friend in Boston heard it too and tried to get the tape from the station. I would love to know if anyone else heard it. I am sure that it was on ABC for me, because that was the only station I could get that day (week, month...) as the transmitters for the other stations were on the WTC but ABC had a backup on the Empire State (I don't have cable). This has bothered me for two years. I would really like to get to the bottom of it.

14. Talk about your Holy Grail, huh, Stephanie?
I believe it too and if I could stand watching him speak on TV I'd look for it very closely.
