William Kristol intentionally playing McCarthy politics
Columnist William Kristol wrote this in The Washington Post yesterday: "But the American people, whatever their doubts about aspects of Bush's foreign policy, know that Bush is serious about fighting terrorists and terrorist states that mean America harm. About Bush's Democratic critics, they know no such thing."

In 1952, his father, neo-con philosopher Irving Kristol, wrote in Commentary: "There is one thing that the American people know about Sen. < Joseph> McCarthy. He, like them, is unequivocally anti-Communist. About the spokesmen for American liberalism, they feel they know no such thing."

The similarities, we are told, were no accident.

2. Not an original thought in his head
Just like the chimpy and his poppy, and no wonder Quayle looked so dumb with Billy-boy as his chief of staff.

That punk needs to do some Humvee time in downtown Baghdad for an attitude adjustment.

5. There are many many many bad evil Republicans in this country
but Kristol is the worst of the worst. He should be pushed out to sea on a raft.

6. It is true
that liberals were unwittingly soft on communism in the `30s and `40s at the expense of national security. Can anyone argue differently?
