AAR management shake-up
Randi's talking about a problem they had in upper management. She seems to be suggesting that the top management were Repukes! She says they're gone now. She says she's known the new people for 7 years. "The new people are Democrats!" she said. "We were in real trouble, but we're fine now."

Tim added, "I'm sooooo glad that's over." And "Thank heaven for Dr. Brian White." He's the genius that got Randi on the internet and all over the country.

Anyone else hear that exchange?

1. I heard parts of it. Sounds like she is pleased.
Still pretty cryptic, though. Sounded almost like they had been sabotaged....did I hear that right?

2. That's how I read it too
Like they were infiltrated. She also threw in "these guys don't miss a thing." inferring the repukes.

3. Sabotage
That's what it sounded like to me. She kept saying she never understood why they took the name Air America, because that was the name of some operaton in Viet Nam.

4. Air America
was an airline run by the CIA in Southeast Asia. They began bombing runs out of Thailand long before the American electorate knew we were operating in that area.

A friend of mine was a pilot for Air America and, after a couple of beers, had all kinds of stories about the operation. He was shot down in the Bay of Pigs fiasco and spent a few days in a life raft before being rescued.

5. How bizarre. Well, whatever, just so they really do get back on track.
