5. Fan mail?

That implies she has fans, which would be news to me.

Interesting side note: my SO of two years went through a bitter and hard-fought divorce. He's the quiet, introspective type and it took many years of bullying for him to finally say "enough!" and make a break for it. A friend of his offered his support in this way: Gave him a copy of Dr. Laura's book, advised him to follow her teachings, then promptly dropped him as a buddy when he went ahead with the divorce (the SO opines this is because said friend hopes to have sex again in this lifetime, and his wife aligned with the woman scorned). This same ex-friend, whom I've never met, is married to a woman so shrewish she had the locks changed once after an argument so he couldn't get back in the house. My SO said, "I think that's a pretty clear sign he should have kept right on going."

Ah, Dr. Laura. She's always good for a laugh and a little pot-and-kettle!
