1. For three weeks it's been that way. "Lock Down!" Lots of folks here
complaining about it. Even those of us who just tune in at lunchtime or to get the day's wrap up with Blitzer. Can't watch it for more than 10 minutes without :puke: And, they are even into lying now.
All day they have been concerned about a medal that John Kerry received and put forth it might not have been really earned. They are so pathetic because they think we believe everything they say.
We have only started getting Fox down here in the last month or so; and I must say it is pretty abyssmal. Yet CNNI is a pretty good news service. Lots of international coverage with broadcasts out of Hong Kong during the morning (Aust time) then switching over to British hosts in the afternoon. There is no shrill rhetoric or overt bias. Case in point. They are now broadcasting a story about Cheney's speech at a university in Shanghai. His speech was broadcast late at night and the transcript at the Peoples Daily website has made "a dozen alterations" to what he said in the speech. The report is being made without the outrage that an Oreilly or his ilk would kick up.
believe it or not - every weekday night at 6pm - the lou dobs hour is the best, and most unbiased news show on any network -- don't spread this around too much else he'll get canned
