Who is this Margaret MacMillan on C-Span?
She's on the in depth 4 hour interview for this month. I see that she's a historian and wrote Paris 1919. I'm new to reading histories and could use some help.

1. She's a Canadian historian
Very level headed, very thoughtful.

Her book on the Versailles Treaty is brilliant.

2. Thanks!
Most often I really enjoy these in depth interviews. I'l be sure to watch it when it repeats. I missed the start of it. And will order up her book from my library. I'm interested in that period of history since my mother was born in 1917. After she passed away, my interest was sparked for the world she was born in to. Interesting what can draw a person to one or another period of history.
