2. I liked it - we've found media/public finds absolute truth boring -Kerry
tries to give truthful statements - and the media crys too nuanced = too much Senate speak.

The media likes Bush's direct easy to remember lies -

and here we have a direct, easy to remember, almost total truth statement.

I see nothing to be gained by making it more exact.
